常熟市胜达金属材料有限公司（原常熟市张桥冷轧扁钢厂）始建于1988年，位于长江三角洲经济开发区腹地常熟市——张桥镇。这里人文历史悠久，地理环境优越，水陆交通便捷，东靠上海，南近苏州，西邻无锡，北靠张家港、江阴，距苏州绕城高速公路15公里，苏嘉杭高速公路18公里，公司地处沟通长江与太湖黄金水岸的望虞河畔。
    公司生产设备先进，技术力量雄厚，厂区占地面积12000平方米，建筑面积6000多平方米。公司专业生产各种规格冷轧、冷拔、热轧扁钢、方钢及型钢两百余种。还有为各种型号的油泵电机、起动电机、直流电机等配套定制各种磁极钢型材。现已生产的热轧、冷拔各种规格磁极钢型材百余种，还有专门为五金、工具、量具、纺织机械、建筑装潢、建筑机械、船用机械、柴油机等各种机电、五金行业特制的非标产品。热轧、冷拔异型材现有规格近百种。本公司现已生产的各种规格品种的产品总共有近400个。
